Portraits FAQs
We feel awkward in front of a camera. Is that a problem?
Most people say that, and most people relax within ten minutes. I guide you with simple prompts and small interactions, not stiff poses, so it feels closer to spending time together than performing.
What should we wear?
Once you book, I send a short styling guide focused on comfort, movement, and tones that work well together. Nothing complicated, just a few things to think about.
Can we include extended family or multiple generations?
Yes. For larger family groups or multi-location sessions, The Heirloom or a Custom package is usually the better fit.
What about the kids melting down or the dog refusing to cooperate?
All of that is normal and none of it ruins anything. I build in time for it and some of the best frames come out of the in-between moments.
How long until we get the photos?
Two to three weeks for the full edited gallery. If you need a small preview sooner, say for an announcement or gift, just ask.
